The Zobzen School
A living school of Zen practice.
Our mission is to teach and hold a profound, fresh, deep and inspiring Zen practice with thousands of people practicing worldwide.
How the school began
Our resident Zen teacher was unknown until 2020, when he decided to post Zen poetry and films on Instagram under @zobzen as a public artwork. This caused a stir and some interest from people around the world.
He began answering questions about Zen online and eventually met with interested people to explore Enlightenment beyond the theory as a living practice.
In 2021, he formed an online practice group to meet regularly and study Zen.
In 2024, he founded the Zobzen School along with a small group of founding students.
In 2026, the Zobzen School was made public and open to applications.
